Certainly not for sale, but a local landmark, is the new Sanibel School (which goes to the 8th Grade). It is one of the few nationally-recognized blue ribbon schools. Families often move to the islands so their children can attend. Find more info on the school click here.
The new multi-million dollar Sanibel Recreation Center is being constructed next door & should be open fall/winter 2007/2008.
